Kailas Sangeet Trust (non-profit) was started in January 2019 to carry forward our musical heritage in emerging cosmopolitan hubs. The foundation seeks to bring leading exponents of Indian classical music to Whitefield – to inculcate an appreciation for the performing arts in society at large.

Kailas Sangeet Trust took up this socio-cultural responsibility to present musical performances in honor of Acharya, Late Pandit Bimalendu Mukherjee, a Renaissance man and multi-faceted maestro who made great contributions in music and several other fields.

Acharya Bimalendu is acclaimed in the Hindustani music world as the ‘path-giver’ who single-handedly transformed the musical and artistic landscape in central India by training several students and giving musical exposure to wider and deeper India by bringing celebrated musicians to smaller towns like Bhilai, Khairagarh etc. Kailas Sangeet Trust is pleased to present the inaugural concert of the year: Aarambh – in April 2019.
